Use this 3" Z-Vent fresh air intake hood to bring in fresh air to your tankless water heater or other heating appliance.

The hood design keeps driving wind and rain from entering into the piping. A screen is inside the hood to keep out birds, bugs, bats, baseballs, and various varmints.

It is commonly used with our 3" aluminum duct and 3" gear clamps shown in the Related Gadget Section below.

The pipe section is approximately 11.5", which is long enough to go through 10" thick walls.. The flange (the part that is parallel to the side of the exterior wall) is 5" x 5".
